In Mines, stars and bombs are hidden under the tiles of a grid. Reveal a star and the multiplier rises; reveal a bomb and the round ends. The game is simple, but a whole business has grown around it selling "Mines predictors", "safe tile bots" and Telegram "signals". All of these are scams, because nobody outside the game knows where the bombs are. This page is an unofficial guide, not a game server; play only in the official lobby.

Can you trust a Mines predictor or "safe tile" signal?

No. Spribe's Mines runs on a "Provably Fair" method: the bomb positions are fixed before you open your first tile, and they do not change during the round. Those positions come from combining the server's secret seed with the player-side seed, and they can be verified after the round ends. No app, bot or "admin" can peek under the board while a round is running.

The scams usually look like this:

Screen-recording videos: someone shows their app marking the grid in green and a star coming up every time. The video is edited or from demo mode; the same thing does not happen with real money.
"Give me your ID and password and I will connect you to the server": this is plain account theft. Once you hand over your login, your balance is no longer in your control.
"Monthly fee for the signal group" or "send your first deposit to my number": a request to pay a personal wallet means stop.
APKs asking for accessibility or SMS permission: such apps can read what is on your screen and take your OTP.

How do you play Mines?

Spribe's Mines is played on a 5x5 grid, which means 25 tiles in total. Under each tile is either a star or a bomb.

Type "Mines" in the lobby search. Other providers may have games with the same name, so check the provider. If you cannot find it, what the lobby has is final.
Set your bet amount.
Choose how many bombs will be on the board. The game's settings show how many you can pick.
Start the round and tap any tile, or press the "Random" button to let the game pick a tile for you.
If a star comes up, the multiplier rises. Now you have two choices: open another tile, or press Cashout to collect what you have won so far.
If a bomb comes up, the round ends. You lose both your bet and any winnings from that round you had not cashed out.

There is no timer here, so you have time to think before each click. Use that; do not tap one tile after another in a rush.

What changes when you add more bombs?

More bombs means fewer safe tiles. So the multiplier rises faster after each star, but the chance of a bomb on the next tile is higher too. With fewer bombs, stars come up more often, but the multiplier grows slowly. In other words, the bomb count lets you choose a risk level, not a guaranteed win.

Keep one more thing in mind: after each star, the share of bombs among the remaining tiles goes up. So the longer the round, the riskier the next click. The game screen shows what the multiplier will be for the next star; decide based on that. RTP and the maximum win are not given here; check them in the game's help or paytable.

Do "corner tiles are safe" or pattern tricks work?

YouTube and Facebook are full of tricks like "open the four corners first" or "never tap where the bomb was last round". Every round's board is created fresh and has no link to the previous round. Pick tiles yourself or press Random; the odds stay the same. A video claiming otherwise is usually really trying to pull you into a group or a referral link.

What you do control is when you stop. Many players set a target in advance, such as cashing out after a few stars, so that excitement and "just one more" do not cost them everything. This is not a profit strategy, just a habit of keeping your decisions in your own hands.

What should you watch for when playing Mines on mobile?

On a small screen the tiles sit close together, so a finger landing on the next tile is very common. Play in the game's own layout rather than rotating or zooming, and pause for a moment after each tap. Make sure you do not mix up the Cashout button and the grid tiles. On a weak network a click can arrive late; do not keep pressing the same tile, first check whether the screen has updated. If any other app or "overlay" is running while you play, especially one that floats on top of other apps, close it. How can you verify a round's result yourself?

The game menu has a Provably Fair section. There you can check a finished round's seeds and hash to confirm that the board was not changed after the bet was placed. Remember, this only verifies past rounds; it cannot tell you where the bombs are in the current or next round.

The biggest risk, though, is a fake lobby. Some sites build a grid that looks like Mines, let you win easily at first, then ask for a "verification fee" when you withdraw. How do you start with a small balance?

Set a money and time limit for the day before you start, and stop for the day when it is used up.
Play a few rounds at the smallest bet to see how the multiplier changes when you change the bomb count.
Check your balance after each Cashout so you can see how much you are really spending.
Do not raise your bet after a loss to try to win the money back.
