Fake messages in 7Z777's name: spotting SMS, WhatsApp and Telegram traps

A message from an unknown number on a phone

The most common route to a fake site is not a search result but a message. "Your bonus is ready", "your account is about to be closed", "your withdrawal is stuck, tap here": messages like these arrive by SMS, WhatsApp or Telegram, with a link that looks like the lobby. This page explains how to recognise them and what to do if you tapped by mistake. This is an unofficial guide site; we don't send anyone messages.

What kinds of fake messages use the 7Z777 name?

The wording changes, but the pattern stays almost the same. These are the most common:

Each one has the same goal: getting you somewhere you will hand over your password, OTP or money yourself.

How can I tell if a message is real or fake?

It is hard to be sure from looking at a message, because scammers copy logos, names and even writing style. So "what it is asking for" matters more than "what it looks like". Stop if you see any one of these signs:

Remember: "7Z777" in the sender name or a logo in the profile picture proves nothing. Anyone can set both.

How do I check a message's claim without tapping the link?

A simple rule: whatever the message says, look for the answer inside the lobby, not in the message's link.

  1. Close the message. Don't tap the link and don't reply.
  2. Open the lobby separately from your own bookmark or this site's lobby button.
  3. Log in and check: is there really a bonus, notice or pending withdrawal? If there is, it will show inside the lobby.
  4. If you are still unsure, send a screenshot of the message to the lobby's live chat and ask whether they sent it.

Do the same with "the address has changed" messages. How to check a new-address claim yourself is in the guide to recognising the real lobby.

How do I recognise "admin" or "support" accounts on WhatsApp and Telegram?

On these two apps the scam comes a little differently. Someone adds you to a "7Z777 VIP" group without asking, a few members post "I won" screenshots, and then an "admin" messages you privately. Watch for this:

If you need help, open the lobby yourself and use the chat inside. The difference between real and fake support is covered in the support guide, and traps that come in the name of an "agent" in the agent scam guide.

I tapped the link or gave my details: what now?

There is nothing to be ashamed of; careful people tap in a hurry too. What matters is doing the next steps quickly:

  1. You only opened the link and typed nothing: close the page, clear it from browser history, and if something downloaded, don't open it; delete it.
  2. You typed your password: log in to the real lobby from your bookmark and change your password straight away. If you use the same password anywhere else, change those too.
  3. You gave your OTP: change your password, check the wallet number in your profile, and report it in the lobby's live chat with the time.
  4. You gave your wallet PIN: change the PIN in the wallet app and contact the wallet's official helpline.
  5. You installed an APK: uninstall it, check in settings which apps have SMS or accessibility permissions, then change your password.
  6. You sent money: keep the transaction ID and chat screenshots, and contact the wallet's official helpline quickly. If they say "I'll refund it, just pay one more fee first", send nothing more.

What can I do on my phone to get fewer fake messages?

A general checklist for spotting fake domains and fake apps is in the fake sites guide.

Does the lobby ever send links by SMS or message?

We can't confirm which messages are real, and that is the point. Wherever a link comes from, don't log in through it; open the lobby from your bookmark and check yourself. A real offer or notice will also be visible inside the lobby.

A friend sent the link. Should I still be suspicious?

Yes. Your friend's account may itself be hacked, or they may be forwarding a fake link without realising. Whoever sends a link, open the lobby from your own bookmark.

Should I reply "no" to a fake message?

Better not to reply. A reply tells the scammer the number is active, and they will keep trying. Report and block instead.

The message has my name and username, so it must be real?

No. A name or username can be collected from an earlier fake page, a leaked list or a public post. Don't be reassured by personal details; look at what the message is asking for.

Don't play out of anger or a rush to make up a loss after a scam. Take a break; there is advice on the responsible play page.

Open the lobby from your bookmark, not a link

This is an unofficial guide site, not the official site, and we don't send anyone SMS or messages. Login and transactions are only in the official lobby. 18+.
